Overview to Receive and Store: Non Dough


When receiving product, it is critical that everything is received and stored
correctly to maintain the product quality and shelf life. When receiving
products, they must be checked to make sure they are within shelf life and
that the products have not been damaged in anyway.
Products are stored to make sure we produce quality and comply with food
safety standards.

All products must be stored a minimum of 15 centimetres off the floor.

Never store food products near chemicals.

When receiving and storing all products you must follow the correct
Safe Manual Handling Techniques when performing any of the items listed:


• Lifting
• Putting down
• Pushing
• Pulling
• Carrying
• Moving a load by hand or bodily force

It is critical to use storage space correctly to reduce manual handling hazards.
